Our Programs
1.Cultural & Traditional Dances
We organize, perform and teach indigenous dances to preserve and showcase the rich heritage of our people. Our dance programs promote cultural pride and intergenerational knowledge transfer.
2. FGM Awareness Campaigns
We create awareness on the dangers and consequences of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) through community dialogue, youth engagement, and collaboration with local leaders to advocate for change and safe cultural alternatives.
3. Indigenous Women Empowerment
We support women through skill- building initiatives, financial literacy, and income-generating projects such as Craft, beadwork and leatherwork, opening market opportunities for local/International beadwork, leather products and enabling them to become self reliant.
4. Orphans and Children with disability
Ildireta Cultural and Heritage Foundation focuses on orphans and children with disabilities, recognizing that they often face significant barriers to education, healthcare, and overall well-being.
We help provide access to education by covering school fees, uniforms, learning materials, and other essential needs. This ensures that every child, regardless of their background or ability, has the opportunity to learn and reach their potential.
In addition, we link them to mobility appliances such as wheelchairs, crutches, and other assistive devices to children with physical disabilities. These tools enable them to move freely, participate in school and community life, and live with dignity and independence.
5. Local and International Exchange Programs
We also promote local and international tourism exchange programs that foster cultural understanding and collaboration. Through partnerships with local and global agencies, we encourage participation in tourism and cultural events that celebrate our rich heritage, promote cross-cultural learning, and strengthen community ties.
